Jason Thomas Kehoe was arraigned Thursday on a misdemeanor count of distributing visual materials with the intent to harass, records show.

A West Springfield man was arrested for allegedly altering a photo and posting the explicit image on several social media accounts.

The Springfield Police Department said that the Firearms Investigation Unit (FIU) received information that a 13-year-old boy who had an active arrest warrant had an illegal firearm on Thursday afternoon. Detectives began surveillance in the area of Lombard Street and saw the suspect with two other people on the 600 block of Main Street.
