There's conscious uncoupling and then there's conscious collaborating. Exes and TV personalities Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack have reunited for a new reality competition show, “The Flip Off,” on HGTV.

It’s not just their kids that keep Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack together since the successful home-flippers ( Flip or Flop) went their separate ways and got remarried. The two are back for more real estate ventures on The Flip Off, a throwdown competition that airs Wednesdays on HGTV.

In the episode, which was meant to be the start of a house-flipping competition pitting Haack and Hall against Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, Haack called Tarek up to invite him over to her house to fill him in on her relationship troubles.

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa's children appeared on "Flip or Flop" throughout their childhoods, returning to HGTV screens on "The Flip Off."

Flip or Flop has been a powerhouse franchise for HGTV going back more than a decade now, continuing via spinoffs even after Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack divorced and the original series ended.
