It took 76 holes, but Ryan Fox won the RBC Canadian Open. The Kiwi defeated Sam Burns on the fourth hole of sudden death. Fox birdied the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Burns, who earlier posted 18 under par.

Burns shot 62 in the final round to get into the playoff while Fox birdied three of his final five holes, including a 17 footer for birdie on the 72nd hole, to tie Burns. They split pars on the first three playoff holes before Fox had a comfy two-putt for birdie on the fourth to win.
