LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRC) - Cracker Barrel called out competitor Waffle House over its recently-implemented egg surcharge.

The company told Nexstar’s KOIN that limits are currently in place at all of its U.S. locations.

While other restaurants add egg surcharges, Cracker Barrel gives loyalty members double rewards on egg dishes.

In a statement shared with Nexstar, a Cracker Barrel spokesperson suggested that its new egg deal is a direct response to Waffle House’s decision to begin charging a surcharge for every egg ordered.
