As is inevitable with the launch of any new generation of Porsche, the 992.2-gen Porsche 911 first unveiled last year continues to roll out variants — and as of Wednesday, it’s time to see the 911 Carrera S Coupe and Cabriolet.

The newest Carrera S goes auto-only while its performance equipment expands.

2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S packs a 3.0-liter turbocharged flat-six engine that now makes 473 hp, which is a 30-hp bump over the previous model year. The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is now offered exclusively with an eight-speed PDK transmission, which means there is no manual transmission option.

The new 992.2-gen Carrera S also has more standard features, but the coupe's base price has risen over $15K to $148,395.

The regular 911 received the turbochargers used by the previous GTS, closing the gulf in performance between those two models. As a result, it's only natural that Porsche has increased the output of the Carrera S.

2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S has been unveiled in the global market. The Sport s car will be offered as a coupe and a cabriolet. The Carerra S sits between the Carerra and the GTS in the 911's lineup. For 2025, the sports car comes with an extended list of standard equipment and more power from the factory.
