Dodgers owner Mark Walter will assume a controlling interest of the team; Jeanie Buss will remain in the governor role

The family is selling a majority stake for a valuation of $10 billion to Mark Walter, who had previously owned a minority stake in the team, a source told NBCLA.

The Buss family is nearing an agreement to sell majority ownership of the Los Angeles Lakers to Mark Walter, the CEO of TWG Global and owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, sources familiar with the deal told NBCLA on Wednesday.
