The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office charges Dustin Joel Baker with murder after a deadly shooting in Danville on April 8.

Police in Talladega are investigating a murder after a man was shot at a convenience store on Monday, April 7.

A spokesperson for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said one person died of a gunshot wound Tuesday afternoon.
