For the sixth time in the venue’s 25-year history, the Florida Panthers’ arena will once again have a new name after a naming right partner has signed on.
It is worth noting that the Florida Panthers and Heat did share an arena in the past. From 1993 to 1998, both teams played their home games at the old Miami Arena.
It was temporarily named FLA Live Arena in 2021. The Florida Panthers will open its NHL Preseason at the Amerant Bank Arena against the Nashville Predators at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25.
