General Hospital star Genie Francis — known by daytime soap opera fans the world over as the legendary Laura Spencer — will make her return to television next week, Entertainment Weekly reports.

It’s the reunion fans have been waiting for: Deadline has confirmed that Genie Francis has returned to the set of General Hospital to appear in scenes with her on-screen son Jonathan Jackson.
