Denver’s coolest Chinese eatery, Hop Alley, gets a semifinalist nod from the James Beard Awards—for its offbeat wine program.

The Bluffton Gullah Heritage Center installed a bottle tree base Thursday, standing 15 ft tall and a width to include 75 limbs, making it the largest bottle tree ever crafted in the United States.
