Traffic volume on the Pennsylvania Turnpike is expected to increase 3.4% this year compared to last year’s Fourth of July holiday period.

Holiday Inn Northeast hosted the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on Thursday at their location on Cracker Barrel Drive.

Officials from PennDOT and the PA Fish and Boat Commission gathered in Wayne County on Wednesday to discuss safe boating practices ahead of the holiday.
