The Americans had arguably the best world championships in their long and distinguished figure skating history, and now they are pointing toward next season and the Olympics.

Alysa Liu announced her return to competitive figure skating after retiring in 2022. She just won the world championship title in front of a home crowd, the first American woman to do so in 19 years.
