DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa Smith have been dating ever since their Baylor days. Now they'll sadly be long distance after an unexpected trade.

Leonora Cravotta is Director of Operations with The American Spectator, a position she previously held at The American Conservative. She also co-hosts a show on Red State Talk Radio.

On June 30, news broke that forward NaLyssa Smith had been traded to the Las Vegas Aces from the Dallas Wings in exchange for the Aces' 2027 first-round WNBA Draft pick.

Smith will face Carrington and her old team on July 16 when the Aces cross the desert for a matchup against the Wings in Dallas, for their last game before the All Star break.
