Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy could be close to a turnaround. The veteran has been abysmal at the plate through 34 games, batting .176 with a .585 OPS and a 69 OPS+. Muncy also has 41 strikeouts to 19 walks. However, a recent trip to the optometrist may reverse his fortunes, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic:

The 34-year-old third baseman had been testing his glasses in pregame batting practice and infield drills since the start of last week’s homestand.

Muncy recently hit his first home run of the season wearing his prescription sunglasses, so the new frames have stuck.
