The Phoenix Suns and forward Kevin Durant’s team are officially working on finding his next team. ESPN’s NBA Insider Shams Charania reported on Wednesday that Phoenix and Durant’s business partner Rich Kleiman are sifting through trade options with five teams interested.

There are numerous teams throughout the NBA currently battling to acquire Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns. The Cleveland Cavaliers, however, are not one of them. Writing for Hoops Wire, Ashish Mathur reported on intel from Sam Amico that made it clear that the Cavaliers are not in the hunt for Durant.

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant is reportedly on the trading block this offseason, with speculation already mounting about potential destinations. According to recent reports, a deadline has been set for a possible trade,

This will be at least the Heat’s fourth pursuit of Durant during the past decade. Miami tried to land him in 2016 free agency, then tried to acquire him in 2022 (when he requested a trade from Brooklyn; he wasn’t traded until eight months later, to Phoenix) and then made an offer for him before this past February’s trade deadline.

Some of the teams that are expected to be very active in the offseason are last year's champions, the Celtics, and potentially the Kings are they look to rebuild their roster from a frustrating finish this year that saw them move on from star De'Aaron Fox.
