Despite another injury scare, the New York Knicks earned a comeback victory over the Detroit Pistons in their 2025 postseason opener.

The Knicks needed a special performance in the fourth quarter to get past the Pistons. Fortunately for them, their battle-tested supernova, Jalen Brunson, was up to the challenge.

Brunson, a superstar, is a known playoff riser, even tracing back to his days as a Dallas Maverick. That was on full display as he led the Knicks to the big win on Saturday. New York, with this version of Brunson, should be able to handle the Pistons in the first round.
