Torquay surfers Xavier Huxtable and Carly Shanahan have been handed wildcard entries into this week’s Rip Curl Pro.

Caroline Marks won the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal surfing competition in Peniche. Marks, a former Melbourne Beach resident, is now ranked third in the World Surf League World Championship Tour.
