A dog found trapped in a drain pipe at the Parker Water Treatment Facility was rescued by Douglas County first responders on Saturday morning, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.

While you may see drain fly solutions like using boiling water or baking soda or concentrations of bleach to kill the flies, all of these can be harmful to your sump pump and should be avoided.

According to firefighters from the Faringdon station, the pipe which is used to drain water was four inches deep, and the hedgehog which had become trapped was "twice the size" of the pipe.
