The ’50s sci-fi fan was inspired by “The Day the Earth Stood Still” along with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby “Road” movies. Presented in CinemaScope, Warner Bros. Animation did the majority of the work, with assistance from Tonic DNA, Powerhouse Animation, Snipple, and Titmouse Vancouver.

The final trailer and poster for "The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" have been released. This marks the first fully-animated feature-length film in Looney Tunes history. The film stars Porky Pig and Daffy Duck in a comedic alien invasion adventure. Ketchup Entertainment releases the movie in theaters on March 14, 2025.
