The Wisconsin Supreme Court unanimously declined to consider a last-minute effort by the state attorney general to stop Elon Musk from distributing million-dollar checks on Sunday.
Musk handed out two $1 million checks to voters in support of conservative candidate Brad Schimel in a race that will determine the ideological balance of the state’s highest court. At one point, a heckler interrupted Musk.
Musk said Wisconsin's state Supreme Court election could "affect the entire destiny of humanity" as he held a town hall with voters in Green Bay.
