The Nashville Predators' already weak center depth took a hit by trading Colton Sissons. But that could mean good things for No. 5 pick Brady Martin.

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, June 29, that the team has acquired defenseman Jeremy Lauzon and forward Colton Sissons from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Nicolas Hague and a conditional third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft.

But Predators general manager Barry Trotz did nothing Tuesday to quash the idea that Martin, who was chosen fifth overall, might have the kind of qualities that could help him earn an NHL roster spot right away.
