"We are devastated to learn that Corey Adams, a freshman on the team, passed away last night in Cordova, Tennessee," Ole Miss football wrote in a statement on X on Sunday.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is holding a press conference at 3 p.m. Monday at the SCSO Training Academy about the Cordova shooting on July 19.
