The New York Giants and New York Jets wrapped up joint practices in East Rutherford on Wednesday as tempers flared and fights broke out.

The Jets and Giants got together Tuesday in Florham Park for the first of back-to-back joint practices. A year ago, the Jets clearly got the best of the Giants, with Sauce Gardner memorably waving goodbye to the Giants at the end of the single joint practice between the teams. (This year, the teams will meet again in East Rutherford on Wednesday.)

After two straight days of dominance from Carter, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn was asked about his impression of the rookie. Glenn, a great defensive mind in his own right, gave Carter a glowing review. “He’s a grown man…he didn’t shock anybody by some of the things that he can do. He’s a damn good player,” Glenn told the media ( h/t SNY ).
