The Lions doubled up on offensive guards for the first time since taking Jonah Jackson and Logan Stenberg in 2020, taking Ratledge in Round 2 and Frazier in Round 5. They dipped into the same training group as Frazier and Tate Ratledge and spent time together during the pre-draft process under the guidance of offensive line guru Duke Manyweather.

The Detroit Lions sat out nearly all of the first two rounds of Day 3, but the team did move up a little to make its first selection. The Lions traded up to the No. 171 pick in the fifth round to draft LSU guard Miles Frazier.
