Police say 20-year-old Ahmed Basheer Awad, of Westbrook, is wanted on a felony charge of elevated aggravated assault in connection with Wednesday's shooting.

The department wrote on their Facebook that the suspect, Ahmed Basheer Awad, “wanted to turn himself in to police so there could be a safe and peaceful resolution for all involved.”

There is an update on that man wanted for allegedly shooting someone at a mall in South Portland, Maine on Wednesday.
