The e Vitara debuts a number of firsts for a Maruti car, including the fact that it is the first electric vehicle from the carmaker

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the e-Vitara an all-electric SUV that offers impressive performance and advanced features, with two high-capacity battery options of 49kWh and 61kWh, providing a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge.

Maruti Suzuki India has finally revealed the much anticipated Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The production of the new e-Vitara will begin in the coming months at Maruti’s Gujarat Plant and will be exported to over 100 countries including Europe and Japan.

The Maruti e Vitara is the first EV by the Indian carmaker. It comes with 10 colour choices, while the interior gets a dual tone theme as standard. The 6 monotone colour choices include Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver and Arctic White while the dual tone colour features a Bluish Black.

Vitara, designed on a new HEARTECT-e platform. The vehicle features two battery options, a dual-tone interior, and advanced safety features. It will be available in Spring 2025, priced between ₹17 lakh to ₹26 lakh.

Underpinning the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is a newly developed platform called the HEARTECT-e, which has been made specifically for battery electric cars.

Positioned as a premium electric SUV, the e VITARA promises a blend of innovation, comfort, and sustainability, aligning with India’s push for greener mobility.

Vitara, making a debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi. The SUV will be manufactured in Gujarat, with exports planned to Japan and Europe. The e-Vitara features advanced technology and a focus on sustainable mobility.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is the first electric SUV of the brand in the Indian market and competes against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric.
