Capitol security found a man inside the Minnesota Senate chamber late Friday night after the building was closed to the public, the Minnesota State Patrol said Saturday.

A naked man suffering an apparent mental health episode was found in the Senate Chamber at the Minnesota Capitol on Friday evening. The unauthorized intrusion was confirmed in a memo sent to Minnesota lawmakers by the Minnesota House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms,

The man is currently being held in the Ramsey County jail and is awaiting extradition in connection with an arrest warrant from Wisconsin.
