The wildcard round of the MLS Cup playoffs is done and dusted making way for the full party to get underway. Supporters' Shield winners Inter Miami will kick off the fun by hosting Atlanta United, and the first round could be a thrilling one.

Jordi Alba turned a pass from Messi into the go-ahead goal in the 60th minute, Luis Suarez also scored and Inter Miami beat Atlanta United 2-1 on Friday night in the opening game

Miami had just three regular starters in the lineup that day, Drake Callender, Marcelo Weigandt and Julian Gressel. Messi, Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba were left out of the starting lineup to rest, and Sergio Busquets was suspended for yellow card accumulation. Martino was also suspended and watched the game from a stadium suite.
