Eva LaRue is exiting General Hospital over a year after joining the show as Natalia, the disapproving and homophobic mother of Jacqueline Grace Lopez's Blaze. Initially serving as a villain, LaRue's character quickly earned the ire of the long-running soap's viewers.

N atalia ( Eva LaRue) died by accidentally overdosing on pills an booze this week on General Hospital. Preparing for such dramatic scenes gave her portrayer a chance to dig into the material, especially as Natalia's life went downhill quite quickly.

Eva LaRue (ex-Maria Santos, All My Children ), who joined General Hospital in February 2024 as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, will wrap up her run on the soap this week.
