Trump gives Putin another two-week deadline to agree meeting with Zelensky - The US president said he will make a decision on how to approach peace talks ‘in two weeks’

KYIV - Russian missiles and drones slammed into Ukraine overnight Thursday with targets including a U.S.-owned business that President Volodymyr Zelensky said showed how Russia was not interested in peace.

President Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and key European leaders met at the White House on Monday afternoon to discuss Russia's war in Ukraine.

Trump said that his decision relies on developments over the coming fortnight and advocated for talks between Russia's Vladimir Putin and Ukraine' Volodymyr Zelensky.

Just after noon, European leaders including Macron, Starmer, von der Leyen, Rutte, and Meloni began arriving one by one at the White House. According to the White House schedule, Trump will first meet with Zelensky at 1:15 p.m. before greeting the European leaders, followed by a multilateral meeting with all parties at 3:00 p.m.
