Nicklas Backstrom is getting his playing career started again, back where it all began. Swedish Hockey League club Brynas IF announced on Monday that they had agreed to a contract with the former star centre of the Washington Capitals.

Nicklas Backstrom is resuming his hockey career back in his native Sweden with Brynas IF. The Swedish club announced Monday that Backstrom was signing there to play this coming season.
