You are able to renew materials online by logging onto the My Account section of the library catalog. In addition to renewing items, you can also view what items you currently have checked out, request items, and pay your fines.

The Ephrata Public Library accepts personal checks for passport applications. When paying by check, two checks are necessary: one to the U.S. Department of State and one to the Ephrata Public Library.

Ephrata Public Library's Home Delivery service provides library materials to Ephrata area residents who are unable to visit the library due to temporary or long-term physical illness, disability, transportation issues or other reasons.

Volunteers support the Library’s Program Team by assisting in the preparation of materials for story times, assisting with programs such as a Summer Reading Carnival, Family Place Parent Child Workshop and craft and cooking programs. Volunteers with special skills are welcome to share and teach!

The Board of Directors are citizens from the library's service area (Akron Borough, Clay Township, Ephrata Borough and Ephrata Township) who have shown a deep interest in the well-being and management of the Ephrata Public Library.
