Oct 29, 2020 · Old ARE topper has been pulled off along with the fender flares and bed decals. Will be re-spraying the fender flares and bed sides along with installing some new bed rail caps. Also will probably end up re-spraying the roof, A-pillars, and installing a new windshield.

Aug 18, 2021 · The Gen3 will be my first Raptor so I don't have any experience with a topper while pushing it on the trails. Some added weight in the back end is probably a good thing. Might need to check the topper/bed clamps before and after serious offroading. Hopefully the other hardware and windows hold up well.

It can hold up to 750lbs on the top this would be great for those looking for a soft top and putting a roof tent on. I don’t have the RTT bars on currently but they come with the topper. Sep 6, 2022 · I hate how toppers look on pickups. That said, I had a topper for 35 years because I slept in the back when I went camping. I just couldn't do it to my Raptor, so I got a tonneau instead. I had switched to sleeping on a cot anyway, and only slept in the bed when it was raining.
