Blackrock is the 12th Region to be added to Survival Mode (with the Perilous Constraint update in December 2021), and is the setting for Episode 4: Fury, Then Silence. It is centered around the titular mountain and federal penitentiary.

Blackrock is a maximum-security prison built in the shadow of Blackrock Mountain in the early 20th century. The brutal island wilderness that surrounds the prison is one of the reasons the site was chosen as a prison meant to hold "the worst of the worst" of convicted criminals.

Blackrock Rumors is a side mission in Episode 4. To start the mission, the player must find any of three security memos, scattered around the Blackrock Mountain region. Each memo adds a sub-objective to the mission, completing all 3 sub objectives completes the mission. An employee is late and now missing.
