Not a whole lot of owners took the plunge, but the engine is used elsewhere and the kit might have been applied to other vehicles in more numbers. So the supercharged Camry might be a rare beast, but it doesn't have to be.

Aug 5, 2023 · As for boosting the Camry, D3 proved that it’s doable tuning wise and custom fab wise. If you ask me, the magnuson supercharger could definitely mount onto the engine but the real issue comes when you have to somehow route the supercharger air intake that points directly left to the Camry factory intake that is on the top right of the engine.

Toyota seems to be going into the FI trend, as some Lexus models are coming with turbos. Lotus Motorsports is for motorsports.
