Using hvac system to circulate woodstove heat?
May 22, 2019 · What I’ve had excellent success with is putting a small fan in the bedroom hallway on the floor, pointed towards the wood stove room. Even on low, this causes warm air to circulate very well into the bedrooms. I’m using a small fan, it’s around 10”-12” tall in total, it’s not one of those tall fans that sits 3 feet off the ground.

We could place a single ceiling fan in the center of the room, or we could have two fans spaced 14 ft apart (7 ft on each side of the stove).

Fan limit switch shuts down when the heat from wood furnace is …
Feb 26, 2007 · I have a Caddy wood/electric furnace. The blower/fan is controlled by a Honeywell fan limit switch. The fan limit switch has no reset button on it. Last night I filled up the firebox with wood, to have enough heat for the night, and shortly after that, the blower stoped working.
New Jotul 450 -- Blower vibration and rattling noise
Sep 18, 2009 · Hi all. Can't find much information on how much vibration noise is "normal" from my newly installed Jotul 450 wood burning insert. First time I fired it up the fan was unbearably loud with the majority of the noise coming from metal on metal rattling. If I push on the blower unit it'll go away for a second, then come back with a vengeance.
